The Moving Mountains Forum at FIFALP!

The Moving Mountains Forum comes to FIFAD on 30 July for a one-of-a-kind panel discussion. Join us in Les Diablerets for an evening of conversations around the theme "How can the Swiss mountains attract world cinema".

Following the grand premiere of "Winter Palace" and other acclaimed series and films, Switzerland and its mountain regions have a real card to play. How should they position themselves? How can they attract the best productions? How can local communities be involved? What roles should the cantons and the federal government play?

With the following speakers:

• Tristan Albrecht, Commissioner of Valais Film Commission and co-president of Switzerland Film Commission
• Isabelle Chassot, Member of the Council of States (FR), President of Cinéforom
• Gilles Marchand, President of FIFALP and former Director General of SRG SSR
• Joachim Rausis, Mayor of Orsières, President of the mountain population association of the Romandy Valais
• David Rihs, Partner and Director, Point Prod SA and co-president of AROPA
• Frank Senn, documentary filmmaker on mountain themes, creator of the series "En route vers les cimes" (SRF)
• Laurent Steiert, co-head of the film section at the Federal Office of Culture
